You’ll also be introduced to the pottery wheel with beginner-friendly wheel throwing sessions, where you’ll learn how to center clay and shape simple, symmetrical forms. In the final weeks, you’ll be guided through trimming and glazing techniques to finish your pieces and prepare them for firing. Whether you're completely new to ceramics or looking to build on your existing experience, this hands-on pottery class offers the perfect balance of structured guidance and creative freedom — ideal for anyone looking to explore clay and gain confidence in essential pottery skills. You’ll be able to keep up to 6 finished ceramic pieces, glazed and fired, included in the course price. If you’d like to keep more, extra pieces can be fired and glazed for £5 each. All materials and firings included - just bring your enthusiasm and clothes you don't mind getting messy!
